F-PRESS SHOP

The F-Press kit printing press is designed to be a home hobby printing press, to help people gain access to and enjoy the age-old craft of printing. It can be used to print both letterpress type and Lino. It was designed during the Covid-19 lockdowns in the UK by Tom Boulton aka TypeTom as a way to continue his practice and look to the future of letterpress. They are built using a mixture of 3d Printing, CNC cutting and traditional hand crafting / woodworking. The cylinder is not height adjustable and is set to be used with letterpress type height 0.918 inch (standard UK &USA height) with packing sheets to aid printing. This being said It will also take type height of 0.930 inch which is common throughout Europe though there are some variations in different countries so have a google to check your area / country before ordering. The F-Press fits A4 paper and the latest model comes with the new gripper bar to make printing just that little bit easier. The press has been designed to be both easy to use and build. The F-Press is sold as a hobby press, they are not designed or built to compete / replace industrial presses like a Vandercook or a Farley. The F- Press kit is built completely in-house by Tom Boulton, each one is currently built to order, shipping will be 10 days from order date. This lead time is being given as materials are currently facing delays being delivered and Tom does not want to disappoint with unrealistic delivery dates. Basically as soon as your Press is ready we will ship it.

Returns Policy

F-Presses are built to order and are non-returnable once opened and or built. F-Press kits can be returned unopened and in resalable condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer not Tom Boulton or Typetom.com and there is a restocking fee of 20% of order value.

Shipping

UK Shipping will be via Royal mail or Parcelforce 48 INTERNATIONAL Worldwide orders are welcomed though currently do face being a challenge due to driver shortages, Covid issues and Brexit. International orders will be shipped with UPS on a fast, insured service and may require being signed for (subject to change as required) International charges including importation taxes & VAT etc may be applicable depending on your location / rules / laws. The buyer is responsible for any and all charges required. Tom Boulton and TypeTom.com hold no liability, risk and or responsibility for any and all fees, fines etc (with no exception) To our friends in Europe, you will be charged Tax at your local rate plus any extra clearance fees and duties.
